This is a public living room, a comfortable place where anyone can come, on good days and bad, to be around people, make connections and enjoy being out of the house. We encourage people to help each other in the space, to “put on the pinny” and help out. So on some days, people might ask you to give them a hand but on others, they’ll help you. That’s what being a Camerado is. We’re all over the country, in all sorts of buildings – libraries, community centres, colleges.
We’ve gathered everything we learned about Public Living Rooms and built a Public Living Room in a Box – essentially a “how to” guide for people wanting to create their own living rooms. Check out the box and request one here.
